The Kids in April - April 2014

So I started taking classes again online and that's totally pushed blogging to the side, but I'm still going to try and get caught up sooner than later. I have a break kind of in March so hopefully then. I suck. Anyway, these were some random pictures of the kids in April.
Of course, there's Mya, always posing. She's so cool.
Then there's Teef. I feel bad because I'm starting to realize that with Amyra in school, she misses out on a lot of photo-ops. Anyway, this is Teef at the girls' swim lessons I'm sure.
And then finally Mya, sleeping on the dog bed. A solution to the bed-wetting!

Our First Open House - 4.27.14

I'm telling you. The best way to be offended is to put your house up for sale. Seriously, hearing other people comment on what they do and don't like about your house is enough to want to fight people. Sheesh. Anyway, we had our first open house and it wasn't as wonderful as we had hoped. Most people that came to look at it were nosy neighbors. Jerks. People also didn't like all the colors in the house. Weird old people. Oh well. While the open house was going on, the kids got to enjoy the Children's Museum. No better way to spend a day!

We Listed the House! - 4.21.14

Well, as Lateef and I celebrated 13 years of togetherness, we also officially listed our house for sale! We were asking for $420,000. It was definitely high but not totally unreasonable because there were many other houses in the neighborhood going for around the same price. Plus, didn't want to move to Vegas for at least a year so we wanted to ride it out and if someone was crazy enough to buy the house at that price, who were we to say no?
Of course selling the house was stressful! Having to keep it clean constantly with three kids and a traveling husband was insanity. And then of course, our babysitter Ashley, who would come and help me clean on Thursdays and watch the kids, disappeared on us and wouldn't return our calls or texts. Makes me wonder if she did something shady. Oh well. Good riddance. Honestly though, I now know why they say selling your house is one of the most stressful events ever. True Homie!

Easter 2014 - 4.20.14

The girls got to wear their beautiful new Easter dresses when they went to church with Gammie. Everyone complimented them on how cute they were. How could you not???
