Amyra, Amyra. I seriously am not even remotely articulate enough to describe how amazing and wonderful Amyra is and how fortunate I feel to have her in my life. She is so so so smart and sweet but she has a lot of passion too. She is quick to stick up for her little sister (even when we try to scold her on Amyra's behalf). She is weary of new people but once she trusts you she loves to chat. And she loves to collect random items in containers and fill them up with water or pine cones, etc.
It's also so crazy to see how she has grown and how her level of understanding just "clicked" one day. I rarely have to discipline her and she is such a great helper at school. She even got 4 stamps the other Friday because she was an "extra extra special helper" that day. She loves her animals and her friends and most of all, she loves her family (and especially me). And wow do I love her!
Amyra's actual birthday (on March 16th) was quite memorable in that Uncle Ryan also closed on his first home that day. So after celebrating at school with cupcakes, and going to the movies with Gammie (we saw The Lorax), we ended the evening with pizza and cake at Ryan's new place. An great way to celebrate my princess.
